H&M Be Conscious

Promoting an eco-conscious lifestyle

We teamed up with fashion powerhouse H&M to create a new microsite to support the launch of their new ‘Be Conscious’ campaign that encourages shoppers to show their support for a more sustainable fashion future. 

H&M encouraged shoppers to recycle their old garments at their local store, where they would receive a code giving them 15% off their next purchase while entering them into a sweepstakes to win a gift card, select merchandise or a trip to L.A.  The microsite included user code entry for the sweepstakes, embedded video of a featured vlogger, user-generated YouTube and Instagram galleries, and an interactive infographic created by partner, GOOD. We also designed and produced banner ad units to complement the campaign.

To cater to users redeeming their code both on mobile devices in the store as well as those browsing on their home computers, the microsite was developed using responsive design to work seamlessly across all platforms. A green initiative from the ground up, the microsite was hosted on an eco-friendly server that employs wind energy.

The end result? Thousands of H&M customers were left grinning, and the world was that little bit greener.
