Denny’s shareable social campaign leveraging instagram’s seamless API for Facebook

Gotham asked us to create a Facebook application using the Instagram API for their client, Denny's.

The Facebook app was designed as a 30-day photo contest that would take advantage of our team's experience creating meaningful user experiences on shareable media platforms. Each day a new hashtag, based on Denny's favorites and relevant food themes (#blueberries, #pancakes, #butter), was used for photo entries. Users were encouraged to submit their photos with the correct hashtag of the day via Instagram, or upload them directly to the site.

The campaign was a huge success and is still going strong - every day a winning photo is selected, and that user is given a $10 Denny's gift card.
